This 1939 Whitman Publishing Company Big Little Book has some minor wear on the spine area! Overall, this is a very solid book and a better one, as grades go!
The graphics are incredible bright and clean and features Dick Tracy taking on Karpse, a producer of poison gas for a foreign power who has a long straight nose, light hair, and a sparse moustache and Nails Wolley, the leader of a gang that smuggled jewels and precious metals through a rural area outside Dick Tracy's city. He has a wide nose, narrow eyes, and short dark hair that came to a point on his forehead!
TRIVIA: Dick Tracy was first published only in the Detroit Sunday Mirror on October 12, 1931! The strip then went syndicated to the NY Daily News in October that year! Chester Gould won the Reuben Award for the strip in 1959 and 1977!!
