Vintage 50's black satin evening bag with gold bar clasp decorated with rhinestones by After Five.
Made from pillow-soft Black Satin, it is a striking beauty. There is a single pocket inside and the interior overall is spacious enough to hold a small wallet and a small smartphone.
A very well thought out design. The frame works smoothly.
Great vintage condition, shown clearly in pics. Could not find any obvious flaws, inside is clean.
As its name implies, After Five Handbag Company made fine Evening Bags all the way until the late 1960’s. This one is from approximately 1956-1959. Beautifully designed and made with painstaking quality, After Five handbags are quite collectible.
