Here is a beautiful Edwardian stick pin, made by George L. Paine Co. of North Attleboro, Massachusetts, ca. 1910s. The company was only in business from 1909 to 1922. This pin is signed G.L.P. Co. on the side of the pin. Their products were mostly solid gold, 10k gold front and gold-filled jewelry. There is no content mark on this pin, so I am not certain if it is solid gold or gold filled. Either way, it is gorgeous. It has an unusual design with a centered tiny red stone, which could be a garnet or ruby. I do not know if the stone is genuine gemstone. Total weight is 1.01 grams. This pin measures 2 5/16" long, and the top part measures 9/16" long and 3/8" wide. It is in excellent vintage condition.
