This item is a bit of a time capsule, it's complete in it's original box with the instructions, copyrighted 1958. Unknowingly, I made the mistake of plugging it in. It works, however the 1950's urethane foam can know longer take the vibration and has started to come out in a grain like fashion. I do not recommend the personal use of this item considering it's a 1950 electronic. However, the box has some very cool advertising and is really good shape for its age would make a great addition for collection.
